# About Georgetown Lawn Guide

Georgetown Lawn Guide is an independent local resource for finding and vetting lawn care and landscaping services in Georgetown, Williamson County, and the surrounding Central Texas area.

Why this site exists

## An honest list, kept local

We built it because finding a reliable lawn care pro locally meant digging through scattered reviews, dead listings, and out-of-town directories that didn't know Central Texas clay or the local watering rules. This site keeps the useful information in one place and keeps it current.

We are not a lawn care service ourselves, and there's no out-of-state media company behind this. We're an independently run guide that connects local residents with vetted local operators. Staying current

## How we keep this information current

We review listings periodically, and again whenever a homeowner flags something. For each provider featured, we check that:

-   The business is currently operating and licensed where required
-   Contact details and service areas are accurate
-   Providers carry liability insurance, and any provider that applies pesticides or herbicides holds the required [Texas Department of Agriculture commercial pesticide applicator license](https://texasagriculture.gov/Regulatory-Programs/Pesticides/Agricultural-Applicators/Applying-Pesticides-to-Lawns-Trees-Ornamentals)

If something is out of date, email us and we'll fix it.
